These quieter moments often become some of the most meaningful photographs and footage from the entire experience.

THE DAY BEFORE: TRUFFLE HUNTING IN UMBRIA
The celebrations began the day before the wedding at San Pietro a Pettine, near Trevi.
Surrounded by the Umbrian countryside, Chloe, Marc and their guests experienced one of the traditions the region is known for: truffle hunting.
Rather than filling a destination wedding weekend with formal events, experiences like this give everyone a chance to actually spend time together. It also creates an entirely different kind of imagery: people exploring, laughing, eating, drinking and simply enjoying Italy together.
San Pietro a Pettine offers guided truffle hunts on its estate, followed by an opportunity to experience the truffles at the table.

WELCOME DINNER AT TABARRINI, MONTEFALCO
That evening, everyone gathered at Tabarrini for their welcome dinner.
Located among the vineyards of Montefalco, Tabarrini is a family-run winery with generations of history in the region and a particular connection to Montefalco’s Sagrantino.
It was exactly the kind of evening we love documenting: wine, food, conversations, speeches, hugs and that excitement that exists when everyone knows the wedding is finally happening tomorrow.

GETTING READY AT VILLA SANTA BARBARA
Wedding morning began at Villa Santa Barbara in Montefalco.
Surrounded by gardens, roses, greenery and the Umbrian hills, the villa created a quiet setting for the beginning of the day before everyone made their way to the wedding.
We love when getting-ready locations have character of their own. It gives us space to document those slower morning moments while creating photographs that already feel connected to the destination.

THE WEDDING AT TENUTA BRANCALUPO
From there, the celebration moved to Tenuta Brancalupo in Montefalco.
Part of the Lungarotti wine estate, Tenuta Brancalupo sits surrounded by vineyards in the heart of one of Umbria’s most celebrated wine regions. The historic estate and surrounding landscape created an incredible setting for Chloe & Marc to bring everyone together.
But what made the day memorable wasn’t simply the setting.
It was the people.
The hugs, the conversations between events, the glasses constantly being raised, the movement around the tables and all those little moments happening when nobody was thinking about the camera.
Those are always the photographs we come back to.
